High Country Inn is a gem! The daily fresh coffee/tea in the lobby kept my caffeine cravings at bay, and the spacious rooms were great. Plus, being within walking distance to Pacini Banff and Farm and Fire made finding local eats easy.
The mattress could use a little love, and I found it a tad noisy when guests were out in the hall. Thankfully, it was quiet during sleep hours, so I still got my rest.

The staff was accommodating and welcoming, so I would come here again. The room was recently refurbished and updated, had a great view of Sulphur mountain. There was an excellent pool on site too.
As for me, the area was not welcoming.

Fairly large hotel with a very clean pool and a particularly good and unbeatable location perfect to relax in after a day of skiing. Variety of outstanding food at breakfast time. Pet-friendly and well-appointed room, with a view, attentive staff.

The hotel was a good base for touring the area, located on the main street and within short walking distance of the town centre shops, pubs and restaurants. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Would have been useful to have a wet bar in the suite.

Comfortable Stay with Quick Access to Local Attractions
We enjoyed our stay, particularly the comfortable bed and the helpful staff. The location made exploring the area easy. Do check out nearby dining options since the in-house options were limited. A great base for adventure seekers!
